Still no time for card making or blogging!  I've been really busy getting my promotional materials ready for a business fair at the weekend, where I'll be launching my new business.
Having contacted various printers for prices - and being horrified at what they wanted to charge - I decided to make my own business brochures!
I got a huge pack of 180 gsm card for a knockdown price of £1 from Staples!!  Just a pound, as it was a discontinued line.  Having designed a trifold brochure, I printed them out and it was easy scoring and folding them as I have a scoring board I use for card making. It made it very quick and easy.  Total cost to make 250 brochures came to around £20 (which included ink cartridges) - hell of a lot cheaper than the £100+ quoted by the printing companies :)
Life calms down again after the weekend, so I just can't wait to get back to crafting next week!

Thank you card

Have had no time - or opportunity - for card making and blogging this past week.  My broadband connection went down again a week ago, and I've had the mother of all battles with my ISP to get it restored.  It's been a total pain! Thankfully I'm going to a new ISP next week who are much more reliable and reputable :)

However, I'm back.  I received this lovely hand made card from a friend this week.  We'd had a fun day with another friend making wedding invitations for her sons' forthcoming wedding. Lots of fun, I so enjoyed. It's so lovely receiving something hand made, and I love the choice of fresh, spring colours in this card

I'm back!

Finally back online after what seems like an age.  No internet connection, and it's only just been fixed. Whew - lots to catch up on, and cards to post on here :)

Back soon!

Happy birthday bear

This one was fun to make :)  I downloaded the digi stamp of the bear, printed it out onto white card, and coloured it in with my promarkers.
I cut it out using a Nestability die, plus another in the lilac card. I love the backing paper with the 'especially for you' wording.
I mounted it onto silver mirriboard, and added the sentiment plus button tied with some twine.
I don't think the photo has done justice to it really - my iPhone was handy, so just used that.
Now back to work - am launching my business (not papercrafting related) in 3 weeks, and I need to focus on it. Still, it's nice to take time out and play :)
